Patrick
de Labauve d'Arifat Chief

Patrick d'Arifat holds a BSc degree in Economics and Accountancy
from City University, London. He started his career with
the Mauritius Chamber of Agriculture in 1982. in 1991,
he was appointed Director of the Mauritius Sugar Producers
Association and joined CIEL Agro-industry as CEO in July
2001. Patrick d'Arifat has throughout those years been
closely associated with the policy formulation and implementation
of the modernization process of the sugar industry in
Mauritius and in the region. |

Jean-Robert
Lincoln Group
Agricultural Development Manager CIEL
Agro-Industry
Jean-Robert Lincoln joined the company in 1985 and is
presently the Group Agricultural Development Manager of
CIEL Agro-Industry. He holds a BSc in Crop Science from
Natal University, South Africa, a Certificate in Sugar
Agriculture from the South African Sugar Association, a
Certificate in Agricultural Water Management from Cranfield
University, UK, and an MBA from the University of Surrey,
UK. Having initially been involved with sugar operations
in Mauritius, he has, over the last decade, been playing
a more active role in seeking and developing agricultural
opportunities abroad. |

Christian Marot
General Manager
MAURITIUS - Deep River Beau Champ (DRBC) Group
Christian Marot is the General Manager of the three sisters
companies namely Deep River-Beau Champ, Deep River-Beau
Champ Milling and Consolidated Energy Ltd. He joined the
company in 1983 as Section Manager and occupied successively
the post of Assistant Field Manager and Field Manager
until his nomination as General Manager in 2002.
Christian Marot holds a Diploma in Management Studies
from the University of Mauritius and an MBA from
the University of Surrey, England. |

Robert Baissac
Chief Executive Officer
TANZANIA - TPC Ltd
Robert Baissac started his career back in 1984 as Assistant
Agronomist at Deep River-Beau Champ. Between 1987 and
2000, he occupied the post of Agronomist then Field Manager
in two different sugar companies, in Mauritius. In 2000,
he re-joined the CIEL Group as Chief Executive Officer
of our Tanzanian sugar operation, TPC Ltd, when it was
acquired from the Tanzanian Government. Robert Baissac
holds a BSc Hons in Agricultural Management from the University
of Natal, South Africa. |
