“Social responsibility, community welfare and the protection of the environment are important values for CIEL Group”
In 2004, the Group has made a long term commitment by launching Fondation Nouveau Regard (FNR), to structure its social responsibility activities. Since then, the FNR has funded many projects with commitment towards NGOs working in the fields of education, health, social inclusion and for the fight against poverty. CIEL Group is also committed to the protection of the environment and more specifically the conservation of the unique biodiversity of La Vallée de Ferney, hence the creation of La Vallee de Ferney Conservation Trust in 2006. |

| The Fondation Nouveau Regard is CIEL Group's structure for financing and managing all the social projects of the Group, in collaboration with the NGOs active in the fields such as the fight against poverty, physical and mental disability, health, education and training. |

The Vallee de Ferney Conservation Trust represents a public-private partnership between the Government of Mauritius and CIEL Group that came into existence in 2006. The Trust is dedicated to the restoration and protection of the natural habitats contained within the reserve, La Vallée de Ferney, acting with the full cooperation and approval of the National Parks and Conservation Service. |
