Lakaz Lespwar Solitude

Managed by Caritas, this community development project offers a wide range of services to local vulnerable populations. Impact: 4,800 direct and 15,500 indirect beneficiaries since 2010

Society for the Welfare of the Deaf

School for the deaf children; the secondary section runs from form I to IV with the last year focused on employability. Impact: 80 direct beneficiaries (pupils). 70% of them have left school, amongst which 73% are now employed

Service d’Evaluation et de Diagnostic de l’Autisme à Maurice (SEDAM)

Managed by NGO Autisme Maurice, it is the only service providing a diagnostic for autism in Mauritius at Wellkin Hospital. Impact: Since June 2018, approx. 100 children and their parents have undergone tests

ACTogether.mu is a citizen platform created in 2007 by CIEL Foundation with the view to create a network of NGOs, share best practices, and provide exposure to community projects. Since then, it has broadened its scope to provide key functionalities for NGOs and individual citizens alike.
