Jean-Pierre Dalais succeeds P. Arnaud Dalais as Chairman of CIEL Group

Effective 1 July 2025, Jean-Pierre Dalais succeeds P. Arnaud Dalais, who will retire after eleven years as Chairman and remain a non-executive director of the Company. 

 

Since joining CIEL in 1977, P. Arnaud Dalais has played an instrumental role in shaping the Group’s development, contributing actively to its diversification across sectors and its international expansion. His tenure as Chairman has been marked by clear strategic vision, structured governance, and a deep commitment to the Group’s founding values. 

 

Jean-Pierre Dalais served as Group Chief Executive from 2017 to 2024 before being appointed Vice-Chairman of the Board in 2024. He led the Group through a phase of strategic transformation, focusing on operational performance and strengthening CIEL’s international footprint. 

 

Commenting on his journey, P. Arnaud Dalais shared: “I have had the privilege of contributing to the Group’s development alongside committed and visionary teams. These eleven years as Chairman of the Board have been guided by a constant drive to build on solid foundations while preparing for the future. I am deeply proud of the journey accomplished so far and it is now time to hand over to Jean-Pierre. I have had the chance to work closely with him as my right-hand for many years, and I know he will carry this momentum forward with the energy and vision that define him. I wish him every success in this new role.
